AS/400 Introduction is a self-paced, audio-cassette course introducing the student to the features and benefits of the IBM Application System/400.

Upon completion you'll be able to:

Identify where the AS/400 is positioned in the midrange computer hierarchy.
Identify the business environment where the AS/400 is typically used.
Identify the different AS/400 models, the benefits or each, memory and disk space available, as well as the number of local devices that can be attached.
Identify the peripherals that can be attached to the AS/400.

Identify some of the major AS/400 concepts, including libraries and library lists, integrated relational database, journaling, Integrated File System, and Integrated Language Environment.
